Caedon started a week earlier than Maddy. Here is my big 5 th grader..

August Update
I have been neglecting the blog. My HP updated to 8.1 and lost ability to connect to the network. After many hours with help from the HP help service it was determined that the update had ruined the hard drive and the computer would never function properly. They said, "it's only certain computers that this is happening to and we have made microsoft aware." Great!
So with my new computer, I can now update the blog. Luckily I store photos on an external hard drive so they were not lost!
On Martin's Birthday we rode our bikes from Squaw to Sunnyside.
Waiting for our table at Sunnyside. Maddy was feeling a little nauseas after trailing behind Martin and not being able to see around him.
Enjoying a warm chocolate chip cookie with ice cream. Alan and I were the only ones to appreciate the gooey goodness!
Perhaps the last trip to the lake for the summer.....
