To what to our wondering eyes should appear, but thousands of presents from far and from near..

Then off we dashed to Nana's house for more presents and food....

Happy Third Birthday Madeline Grace

Madeline turned 3 yesterday. We had to postpone her birthday until today because she was not feeling well. She had a wonderful birthday celebration today and was thrilled with every single gift. Maddy and I took a long time making her cake according to her specifications- strawberry ice cream cake with hearts, crowns and frinkles -purple and pink. Somehow I don't think I would have won a prize on Cake Wars.
I gave her an Easy Bake Oven, hoping I could get away with using less of mine, since Maddy loves to bake. Actually I think she just likes to make the batter and lick it, but hopefully she will like her very own oven.  Aunt Tracy gave her a pretty apron and other accessories for cooking. Aunt Stacy, Winny, Wauren and Alan gave her the purple socks and shirt that she requested plus a purple skirt and sweater. Grandma Susie gave her a doll clothed in purlpe. Nana gave her ladybug luggage and accessories. Aunt Amy painted Maddy a rocking chair. Winny provided an extra special Maddy gift complete with all her favorites - chap stick, nail polish and a tutu. Who needs Christmas when your birthday is December 17th and you are surrounded by loved ones?

Pilgram Presentation

Caedon's class put on a preformance about the pilgrams and Thanksgiving. It was postponed until December because of the fire that occured in the Coughlin Ranch area, plus I am behind loading the pictures. Caedon did a great job, unfortunately you can't hear him that well on video.
